Mentors

Dr. Ashok R. Mehta

Dr. Ashok R. Mehta is a distinguished surgical oncologist. In an illustrious career spanning over 50 years, he has served as Head of Department Surgery and Head & Neck Services at Tata Memorial Hospital, and the cancer centre at Nanavati Hospital. He also has served as consultant cancer surgeon at Lilavati and Jaslok Hospitals Mumbai. After association with Brahmakumaris, he founded Global Hospital and Research Centre Trust and served as Managing Trustee for more than a decade.

In addition to being a fellow and member of many international surgical societies, he was elected fellow Qua Surgeon of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glassgow (FRCS). He was awarded Dr. B. C. Roy National Award 1996 in the category of Development of Specialities. He was elected President of various surgical societies like ASI, ISO, IASO & President of the ISHNO.

Besides his professional work, he has deep interest in meditation and spirituality. He has also commitment to socially oriented healthcare activities.

Aniruddha Basu

Aniruddha Basu is a veteran Business Leader in the power utility sector. In his prominent career of 30 years, he has served CESC Ltd., India's oldest power utility as Managing Director. Under is leadership CESC has won many national and international accoloades and emerged as the best and professionally managed power utility. He was nominated as Powerman of India consecutively for 3 years and elected as Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) Eastern Region Council .

He is alumnus of Department of Electrical Engineering, Jadavpur University and has done execuive MBA from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.

Besides his professional feat, he is a voracious reader and a traveller.

Partners

Rajat Sarkar

Rajat Sarkar is the co-founding partner of SGCS. His areas of interest involve Strategy, Corporate Finance and Operations. In his more than 15 years of illustrious experience in diverse industries in India, Thailand, Tanzania and Qatar, he was instrumental in formulation and implementation of growth strategy; mergers, acquisitions and joint venture due-diligence and integration; business turnaround and transformation to deliver desired profitability, project planning and control, implementation of systems and processes required to deliver the results. He has more than six years of experience serving as Chief Financial Officer where he has led the organization delivering the desired results. Also, he has nearly eight years of experience as strategy and finance consultant where he has helped the organisation to be more efficient and productive creating value for all the stakeholders which helped them to acquire funding from various agencies.

He has done his bachelors and masters in mechanical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and masters in management from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.

Rajat is an avid reader and a traveller. He actively persue hobbies of philately and photography.

Dr. Subir K. Ghosh

Dr. Subir K. Ghosh is the co-founding partner of SGCS. His areas of interest involves executive assessment, training, performance management systems, balance scorecard, organization development, talent management and development, competency mapping, and executive recruitment and engagement. In his more than 25 years of experience in India, Bangladesh, Bosnia, Jordan, Tanzania, Kenya and South Africa, he has spearheaded the Human Resources division as a business leader. He has more than ten years of experience serving at leadership level. He is currently associated with National School of Leadership Pune and Talent Hut Malaysia. He is empaneled with Thomas as an assessor and has completed more than thousand days of assessment. He has more than five years of experience in consulting organizations to foumulate HR policy, recruit the best candidates and to create leadership pipeline.

He has done MBA in Human Resurce Managament from Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management Kolkata and later done PhD in Assessment and Development Centre - A Strategic Tool to align Business Excellence and Organization Development. He is a certified NLP practitioner, global education committee member of ICF and coach. He has received Tata Business Excellence gold certification and behaviour based satefy trainer from DuPont. He is a certified leadership, Kaizen, 5S and train the trainer.
